Bro. Barrett was saved in his teenage years thanks in large part to a loving and prayerful grandmother. He graduated with a degree in Computer Science on July 12th, 2004 out of Memphis, TN. He met his wife shortly after and was married September 2nd 2005. God has blessed him and his wife, Mrs. Andrea, with 7 children. God has called Bro. Barrett to build a Godly home and to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He publicly surrendered to the call to preach on September 7th, 2008. Bro. Barrett helped a new Church plant for three years starting in mid 2010, served as Youth Pastor for two and a half years from 2013-2015, was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in March of 2015, and served as Senior Pastor of King’s Highway Baptist Church from 2015-2020, before moving back to Friendship in late 2020. He currently serves as Assistant Pastor here at Friendship Baptist Church.
